Project: Men of Honour of Goroka

Community Voice:

The power of Men of Honour working together came alive when MOH Ambassadors from Eastern Highlands Province came together to jointly run a Workshop, free of charge, for interested members of the public. Recognizing that much of the violence, assault and issues in the communities were as a result of restless unemployed youth, the discussions were around job search tips and tailoring CVs to match particular jobs for fighting chance to be shortlisted.

Young Man of Honour Lazarus Towa, who is based in Port Moresby, travelled to Goroka to team up with Papa Ejampi Suave 2017 cohort, Joseph P Kaukz of 2018 and Richard Yuasi from the 2015 inaugural batch to run the MOH Workshop for their citizens of Goroka.

Lazarus Towa plans to visit other provinces to roll out similar workshops, directly contributing to reduction of poverty and violence.
